Guidlines

  • Follow Parking Instructions: The camp is located along a busy 100 km/h road. For everyone’s safety, please follow all instructions for parking and stopping.

  • Check-In and Setup: Once parked, head to the registration point to sign in. A staff member will guide you to the appropriate camping area.

  • Quick Unloading: Please unload your Scouts/Cubs gear promptly and avoid lingering unless you have been asked to help with setup.

  • Packed Lunch Required: Please ensure your child has a packed lunch and snacks for the first day, as the first camp meal will be dinner.

  • Vehicle Restrictions: Only vehicles carrying contingent equipment will be allowed onto the campsite itself.

It is not critical if you arrive slightly early or late; however, aiming for these times will be very helpful in creating a safe and efficient drop-off point.

Please follow the instructions of the traffic management staff. They have a reason for directing you to specific parking areas, and this helps keep everyone safe.

The first meal supplied by Summer Camp will be the evening meal on the first day. It is highly likely that you will need to provide lunch for your child on the first day.

*Note: There will be no lunch provided on the final day.

DRESS FOR TRAVELLING

Camp is not the best place to wear full official uniform. For travelling to and from camp, and for the opening and closing parades, more appropriate dress would be a Contingent T-shirt (if supplied), purple group shirt or a plain T-shirt and shorts, worn with the Group scarf.

Departure Instructions

  • Pack Up and Site Clearance: Ensure all equipment is packed and your site is cleared. Obtain a Site Clearance from your Camp Director or their nominee before departure.

  • Departure Time for Cubs & Scouts: 1pm if all is packed down (Cubs). Please be on time.

  • Top Tip: Pack some extra snacks for the ride home - your young campers will be tired (and maybe a little quiet!).

We can’t wait to share an amazing camp experience with you!
