Both the Scout and Cub versions of the 2023 CNI Summer Camp have now finished.  What a year - earthquakes, tropical storms and ex Cyclone Hale were all sent to test our limits.  However, with some swift programme changes and stellar leadership from the kaiarahi, we all had a great time and both camps went ahead on schedule.  Check out photos on our Facebook page at  CNI Scouti

We haven't been as clear as we could have been about the pick up times.  Our departure information page on this website was a bit out of date!  We have changed that now. Closing ceremony is at 0930, and it will be for Scouts and Leaders only.  Pick up times are as follows: Waikato and Eastern Waikato - 10am Lower North Island - 11am Auckland - 12 midday Sorry for the conf

Despite an early morning earthquake waking us up and some less than ideal weather, the first Adventure Day is underway at the CNI Scout Summer camp.  Everyone is enjoying the sheltered loveliness at the Dickies Flat Adventure Park which is proving to be perfect for a spot of kayaking, tubing, slingshots and shooting. Its raining anyway, so may as well get wet in the river!  Apparantly

We have had a few questions about arrival times.  So we thought it would be useful to pop them on the website. Waikato and Eastern Waikato groups arrive at 10am. Lower North Island groups arrive at 11am. Auckland groups arrive at midday. Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday.

Summer Camp is going to happen!  After two years of cancellations, the team have decided that it is very important that Summer Camp goes ahead, no matter what.  Come and join us - we have a great programme planned!

By popular request the discounted rated has been extended until 28 October and the cut off date for all registrations is now 11 November. But be quick - we are now inviting registrations from the Lower North Island so places may be tight!

You can still register for Summer Camp!  The early bird registration is 30 September, so there is still time to get your name at the discounted rate.  The last day for registrations is 31 October 2022.  Don't miss out!

Registrations are starting to come in from all over the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Auckland regions.  Leading the registrations is the Glen Eden group.  Find out more about the programme in the Scout Camp and Cub Camp tabs, and come on along!  We are looking forward to a great event in 2023.

Planning for Summer Camp 2023 is well underway, and the staff looking forward to seeing everyone again after a COVID enforced break.  Prices have been set, and the programmes are nearly set. Keep an eye out for the opening of registrations very soon!

The Summer Camp committee have spent the last few months marketing and pushing Summer Camp as an event.  Planning for Summer Camp has also been ongoing and we have the usual exciting programme ready to go.  Despite this, the numbers of youth registering is still low.  As at 10 October we had only 29 cubs and 40 scouts registered.  The numbers of adults registering is also low.
