Summer Camp News letter Number 2 Lets hope this wet weather clears itself up by the time summer camp comes along. My husband the local Waihi Farmer is very happy as I sit here inside unable to get in my garden because of this lovely summer rain. My first retraction I have to tell you about from the previous newsletter is that they will of course be needing a ditty bag for the stay away nights.

Not a post I wanted to put out,but there are a number of people who haven't completed payments. Please don't let your child get the embarrassing question at camp registration, that their camp fees are not paid up. The planning for both the Scout and Cub 2025 Summer Camps is in full swing, and the CNI Summer Camp team is looking forward to seeing you all very soon. With numbers as low as they are we have decided to extend the discounted rate till 20th Nov. The final close off for camp is still the 30th Nov. This is  also the final payment date, unless arrangements have been made prior. Remember you don't need a full contingent to come. We are pulling the cycling base off as there are only 2 people that have picked it and as of today we still don't have any adults to run it.

Scouts have the opportunity to purchase and build a kit set for the Inaugural CNI Summer Camp Pinewood Derby to be held on the last evening of Scout Summer Camp. Both the Scout and Cub versions of the 2023 CNI Summer Camp have now finished.  What a year - earthquakes, tropical storms and ex Cyclone Hale were all sent to test our limits.  However, with some swift programme changes and stellar leadership from the kaiarahi, we all had a great time and both camps went ahead on schedule.  Check out photos on our Facebook page at  CNI Scouti
