How to Register

We’re so excited to welcome you to CNI Summer Camp 2026!

To help everything run smoothly, please check the information below before you begin.

Before You Register:

For Scouts, Cubs & Adults attending the CNI Summer Camp:

You'll need:

1. Full name of your Scout Group. (Eg. Morrinsville Scout Group)
2. Name of your Zone. (Eg. Eastern Waikato Zone)

How to know if you are registered:

After completing your registration you will receive:

• An invoice for a $50 non-refundable deposit
• A unique FM (friendly manager) number for each registered person.

ALL communications and payments will require your unique FM number. 

Full camp fees will be emailed separately.

*NOTE: A separate “Contingent Fee” applies in addition to this payment.

This fee is set by your contingent and covers immediate essentials such as cooking gas, glad wrap, stationery, other essentials etc. Be sure to visit the Payment Options page for full details.

Who can attend Scout Camp?

You must:

• You must be 11 years old as at 1/1/2026 and a maximum age of 14 1/2 years old at 1/1/2026.
• You must be Invested as a Scout.
• You must have approval from your parent/caregiver and Kaiarahi / Leader.
• Camp Fees
• Register your Scout

 

Who can attend Cub Camp?

You must:

• You must be 8 years old as at 1/1/2026 and a maximum age of 11 years old at 1/1/2026.
• You must be an Invested as a Cub.
• You must have approval of your parent/caregiver and your Kaiarahi / Leader.
• Camp Fees
• Register your Cub

Kaiārahi / Leaders & Adult Helpers

The youth are organised into contingents, which could be made up of multiple Zones. 

• Each contingent will need a Contingent Leader and 7 Leaders/Adult helpers to maintain the ratio required by Scouts NZ Health and Safety policy. 
• Every adult aged 18+ requires a current membership and be police vetted by Scouts NZ at the start of each camp.

If your Cub or Scout gets home sick or has health issues, please think about coming along with them either as an Adult Helper or Camp Staff. 

You may not be alongside them on every activity, however it could be peace of mind for both you and them to be nearby.

All adults attending camp must hold a current Scouts NZ warrant (Kaiārahi, Associate, Rover, or Adult Helper).

Venturers

We are looking for a team of 6-8 venturers to assist us with both the Scout and Cub Summer Camp. 

• You must be aged between 14 and 18.5 years old and invested as a Venturer.
• We will require a recommendation from your Venturer leader.
• You will be expected to work as part of the staff team to help deliver the event. 

There is no cost for Venturers to attend.

Attendance at the event counts towards your community engagement hours for your Kings Scout Kauri award and you will also earn participate, assist and possibly lead credits as well. if you have worked well at camp, the Camp Director may present you with a refrence that could be helpfull in job seaking.

Rovers

Rover Scouts are welcome to attend as Programme staff and should contact the Cub or Scout Director via cnisummercamp@scouts.nz regarding a role at the camp.

Programme Staff

Parents and adults who have sound outdoor skills are welcome to apply for a role as an instructor at either of the two camps.  Contact the CNI Summer Camp Director via cnisummercamp@scouts.nz regarding the suitable use of your skills.

A NZ Police check approved by Scouts NZ will be required for ALL adults attending the camp.Registration Instructions

Returning Members (Re-Registration)

For members under 18, a parent/guardian must complete the re-registration:

1. Log in to Friendly Manager
• Forgot password? Click “Forgot your password” to reset.

1. Click the blue Register Now button.
2. Choose the correct registration form.
3. Complete the form (your info should be pre-filled where possible)
• Red lines = required fields
• Select your Scout Group
• To register another child, click + Add another member
• Otherwise, click Proceed to Parent/Guardian Contact
4. Add/update parent/guardian details and emergency contacts.
5. Agree to the Terms & Conditions and proceed to payment
6. Review your registration and click Register.
7. You will receive a confirmation email with invoice and T&Cs.

New Members - Welcome!

Registration for under-18s must be completed by a parent/guardian:

1. Click Register for Camp > New to CNI Camp 2026
2. Choose the correct registration form
3. Fill in the form
• Red lines = required fields.
• Choose your Scout Group.
• Register another child by clicking + Add another member.
• Or click Proceed to Parent/Guardian Contact.
4. Enter parent/guardian details and emergency contacts.
5. Agree to the Terms & Conditions.
6. Review and submit.
7. Confirmation email will be sent with invoice and T&Cs.
